2. Terms of Carriage & Prohibited Cargo
Customers booking freight or packing services agree to comply with Indian transportation safety regulations. Under no circumstances will SRPM Cargo accept or transport:
- Hazardous, combustible, or flammable liquids and compressed gas cylinders.
- Illegal narcotics, contraband, firearms, or unlicensed weapons.
- Cash, bullion, precious jewelry, bearer bonds, or unsigned financial certificates (clients must transport personal valuables independently).
- Perishable foods, live animals, or livestock.
3. Two-Wheeler Shipping Protocol
For motorcycle parcel and transport services:
- Fuel Tank Policy: Customers must ensure the vehicle's petrol tank contains less than 1 liter of fuel at the time of pickup to satisfy national transit safety regulations.
- Vehicle Condition Inspection: A physical pre-move vehicle condition report noting existing scuffs or scratches will be completed during pickup by our driver and the vehicle owner.
- Loose Accessories: Removable items such as mobile holders, action camera mounts, and helmets should be removed or declared beforehand.
4. Transit Schedules & Force Majeure
Transit schedules provided via WhatsApp or quotation are estimated based on standard highway conditions. SRPM Cargo will not be liable for transit delays caused by Force Majeure events, including severe weather, flooding, landslide disruptions, national highway blockades, curfews, or statutory RTO/Customs system downtimes.
5. Transit Insurance & Claims
Shipments booked with transit insurance are covered under the policy terms of the issuing insurance underwriter. In the rare event of accidental transit damage, notice must be given within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence and endorsement on the delivery run sheet before signing acceptance.
